Relationship Therapist in NYC

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — I use CBT to examine the thoughts and behaviors that keep you from obtaining the relationships you crave. Maybe you are looking to date, make friends, improve your social life, or simply enjoy your relationships more. Acknowledging the beliefs holding you back will bring you closer to developing the relationships you are looking for.

Rational Emotive Behavior (REBT) — REBT is an industry best practice for examining the irrational beliefs you have developed about yourself, others, and the world. These beliefs typically make it difficult to feel satisfied in friendships and romantic relationships. We focus on changing these beliefs, learning new behaviors and effective coping strategies so you can maintain and pursue the relationships you desire.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — Using DBT helps you work through relationship challenges by focusing on interpersonal effectiveness skills. These are specific DBT skills that are strategy-based and focus on developing effective interpersonal communication. In using them you can learn how to have healthy satisfying relationships and avoid toxic, unhealthy relationships.
